Images can sometimes evolve of their own accord. To be honest, I find that they tend to do so when I’m pressured. And believe me, I was certainly under pressure here.
This particular assignment was to provide new headshots for their website’s “meet the team” page. Whilst there, Matt asked for a group shot to be possibly used with their social media outlets. After a couple of standard type group images, I suggested something a little different, which is basically what “Mini” is all about.
The Preston Marriott wedding brochure was shot over three days. The first two were purely focused on the hotel interior, whereas on the final day, we were to get some exterior images.
This is one of the images for the Preston Marriott wedding brochure. The lighting provided by the table lamps gave a really warm and homely feel to the room, and would make a welcoming image for any bride thinking of booking the Marriott for their wedding.
This was another assignment for Rachel Mason, educator at Alan Howard Training, and all round good egg. And as usual, Rachel gave me a scanty outline as to what we would be doing (“Just a few shots in Blackpool…”), which bore little resemblance to my unfolding day!

This was an interesting day. I got to work with a long standing friend. Chris Dunkerley of Moo Creations. It was the basis for a design concept for his client, MobileTron. The remit was straightforward. “Give me something special!”.
Newchurch-in-Pendle is well known for it’s history of Witches and Witchcraft. Maybe not so much with Vampires! Meet Sarah Hillier, a good friend of mine, and fascinated by anything remotely vampiresque.
Jo and Cass  This was a straightforward brief for a hairdressing salon in Preston, Jo and Cass. Basically, provide something eye catching for a magazine article regarding their two newest recruits.
