Meet Joe Harrison. A gentleman who has just celebrated his 100th 100 break in snooker. I was asked by a local working men’s club to create the image, which would be framed and hung on the club wall.

Some of you will recognise Wayne, one of the photographers working with me. Yeah, I know he looks a little younger here, and there’s a reason for that. This was pre beard, and it was eighteen months ago when he qualified.
If you challenge a photographer, they’ll likely want to do it properly. And at this point, it’s either go big, or go home!
Some of you may recall a good friend of mine, Rachel Mason, Educator at Alan Howard Training. Rachel has worked on several shoots with me before, including the cover for the 2013 Lencarta catalogue. Anyway, Rachel asked me to go along to a training event, where a new hair colouring system was to be launched. Take a few headshots, a few of the entertainment and
Montego Bay. The most amiable bunch of folks I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with in quite a while. A little off the wall, and all very different, and all so very, very talented. From huge outdoor proms, right down to managing weddings on the day, with everything inbetween! On this occasion, it was the Pro Hair after show party, and it was to be quite an evening. The event was actually organised in conjuction with Rachel Mason of
A good friend of mine, Rachel Mason of Dare to be Different, asked if I would photograph Sarah, a friend of Rachel’s who also worked in her salon. Sarah has a great interest in all things dark. Vampires, horror and anything macabre. I felt the shoot should reflect this side of her chracter.
Some of you may recall the portfolio shoot I did for Catherine Boden of Glamorise, a makeup artist and stylist from Manchester. These images were part of a wedding brochure shoot for Calthwaite Hall, and another entry will cover the actual shoot for their brochure at a later date. Due to a number of circumstances, not least the fact the ambient light disappeared as the
